Grief and Decay
I lost one of the people closest to me recently. Actually, I’ve lost many friends and family members in a short period of time. Grief is backing up like logs on a river - fallen and swept away. There is a great fear in my heart that without these Mother Trees, the forest is about to fall.
Mother Trees
Mother trees are the largest trees in forests that act as central hubs for vast below-ground mycorrhizal networks. A mother tree supports seedlings by infecting them with fungi and supplying them the nutrients they need to grow.
